I would come over after work to hang out before I went to class each day. Brad was always sitting in his seat reading a book. When I would walk in he would always have a big smile on his face and say "Hiya sweetie, how was your day?" This always resonated with me because it was a great pick-me-up if I was tired after work. Brad never liked to kill any living thing, even scorpions, flies and cockroaches. He would catch them and let them go (at my insistance, far, far away!).
HI Stacey - I'm so sorry to hear of Brad's sudden passing. He always brightened the Junior High campus when he came by. It must be such a shock to you. Jen told me about it when I was subbing at school. By the way, she is a terrific teacher! She is so organized and in-charge. She's really great to work with.
Brad is so missed by his family, thank you so much for creating this blog for all to share our wonderful memories. My favorite story is Brad saving me from the deadly (inch long) scorpion, I thought I was a goner! hehe Love and miss you all! Anne
We met Brad and Stacey on the road in Kettle Falls, Washington. We had a great time geocaching and hanging out. You guys were the best RV neighbors to be found- from coast to coast we never met a friendlier couple.
